When I asked my mother for an old vintage gown,  I was so excited to see this 1800′s wedding gown she had managed to pull out from a friend’s great grandmother’s old trunk I just had to arrange a creative photoshoot with it.  Big thanks to the amazing team Ivy Lam, Stemz and Cynthia Findlay Antiques.

(As seen on The Wedding Chicks Blog)

Enjoy. xo

I adore everything about this shoot. The dress, the model, the props, the processing, all amazing.

I love, love, love this photshoot… hopefully I could get something like this done on my wedding day :)

I thought concept, model, makeup, location…great. But some of the shoot feels slightly posed and a little stiff. Maybe try to capture the feeling of moving, like you are just an observer of the bride as she goes about her business. Also, the wreath maybe could have used some repositioning. Overall, I enjoyed these pictures. Good job and thanks for sharing. And the dress really was so cool!
