Whoa, this magical Fermenting Cellar wedding took the garden-inspired wedding theme to the whole new level!
Linda and Christian are one of the sweetest couples I’ve ever met. Both super fun and easy-going, it was a real pleasure to spend the entire day with them and photograph their beautiful wedding at the Fermenting Cellar.
Linda and Christian met a local bar where a mutual friend introduced them to one another. While they have very different personalities: she is loud and outgoing, and he is the calm and quiet one – they have a lot of similarities that make their relationship full of love and adventure! When I asked Linda what was her the most favourite thing about Christian, she responded: “I love how much he makes me laugh!” And you could totally see it on their wedding day. Not only could you feel how much Christian is in love with Linda, you could also tell she is on cloud nine whenever she is with him! From the moment he laid his eyes on her during their First Look down to the very last dance that night, they were totally present in the moment, soaking in all the love and happiness of the day.
Soaking in the love and joy of the day is very important when it comes to your wedding photographs. You’ve planned your perfect day and you have amazing vendors you can count on. Your wedding is a day-long celebration of your love, and I want you to let go and enjoy it to the fullest. When I asked Linda what attracted her to Mango Studios, this is what she said: “I’ve followed your Instagram account for a few years now, and the photos always blow me away! They are professional but still capture the personalized nature of each couple. I am willing to sit back and let you guys take over and do whatever you think is best when it comes to photographing our wedding!” See? 😉 It’s when you let your guards down and are enjoying every second of your day we are able to do what we do best – take flawless and candid wedding photos that are authentic, beautiful and full of emotions.
As a truly family-oriented couple, Linda and Christian wanted their wedding to be a good time spent with their closest friends and family. They imagined hosting a beautiful party surrounded with twinkling candlelight and lots of greenery. Linda confessed that she always wanted a garden-inspired wedding, and their wedding planner, the talented Shealyn Angus, took it to the whole new level. Shealyn Angus described their day as “A bit of romance and a bit of mystery. The room was filled with romantic garden vibes, which enchanted guests at each turn. Steering slightly away from a traditional “garden” inspired wedding, we filled the room with a high fashion elegance inspired by an ethereal old world romance.”
Looking back at the photos, I can tell that it was everything that she described and more! This Fermenting Cellar wedding featured deconstructed floral arrangements created by White Oak Flower & Co. that added a soft touch to the otherwise industrial venue. I especially loved the circular ceremony piece that framed the couple so nicely. As Linda told me after the wedding the execution of her romantic and ethereal garden vision couldn’t have been more spot on!
Linda and Christian, thank you so much for making us a part of your special day! We had such a great time. We wish you nothing but happiness and bliss on your new journey as a married couple!
