Liberty Grand Wedding by Mango Studios
Weddings are always pretty hectic, but a Liberty Grand wedding doesn’t have to be! The Liberty Grand is specifically designed to make awe-inspiring weddings an effortless endeavour so you can actually relax in the weeks— months—years? leading up to your special day! Originally built in 1926, the Liberty Grand’s Beaux Arts construction and classic style emanates an aura of refined elegance. You will look and feel like royalty celebrating under monumental twenty-seven foot ceilings of each of the three grand ballrooms. Several crystal chandeliers hanging at different lengths will add interesting levels to your photographs, while their light, especially after sunset, will blanket the entire room in a subtle warmth. When it comes to shooting at such a historic venue, though, it is important to consider how lighting will affect your photography. High ceilings and hanging chandeliers will no doubt look amazing in your pictures, but only if shot correctly. At the Liberty Grand, as well as many other historic sites, the light does not always reach the entire room, resulting in poorly lit photographs. This means photographers must use flash, which poses its own set of difficulties. Flash photography does not always produce the most flattering results and could cause images divided by sections of intensely lit subjects, and sections of really dark subjects. Always make sure your photographer has ample training in flash photography and is comfortable combining natural and artificial light to ensure the beauty of your wedding and the venue itself is visible in all your photos. In the end, photographs will be the only tangible memory of the day, so it is important that the images properly capture all the details of your Liberty Grand wedding.
