Mango Studios Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to Mango Studios (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website mangostudios.com, and the services we provide. By accessing our website or using our services, including opting in to receive text messages or starting a Virtual Vision Call, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services

Mango Studios offers professional photography services, including but not limited to portrait photography, event photography, commercial photography, and photo editing services. We also offer the Virtual Vision Call, a complimentary, AI-assisted consultation that helps you plan your wedding photography and prepares a personalized proposal. The details of our services are described on our website and in our service agreements.

3. Booking and Payment

• Booking: To book a photography session, you may be required to fill out an inquiry form, provide certain information, and pay a deposit. Bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed upon receipt of the deposit.
• Payment: Payment for services must be made according to the terms outlined in the service agreement or invoice. We accept various forms of payment, as specified on our website.
• Cancellation: If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellation policies, including any fees, will be outlined in the service agreement.

4. Text Messaging Opt-In

• Opt-In: By submitting an inquiry through our web form and opting in to receive text messages, you consent to receive SMS messages from Mango Studios regarding your inquiry, booking details, promotional offers, and other updates.
• Frequency: The frequency of text messages will vary based on your interactions with us.
• Message and Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply. Please check with your mobile service provider for details.
• Opt-Out: You can opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying “STOP” to any message you receive from us. After opting out, you will no longer receive text messages from Mango Studios, but we may still contact you via email or other methods as necessary for service provision.

5. Virtual Vision Call: Recording & Transcription

• What the Vision Call is: The Mango Studios Vision Call (“Vision Call”) is a complimentary, AI-assisted consultation that helps you plan your wedding photography and prepares a personalized proposal. It is provided for information and planning purposes and does not create a booking until a separate agreement is signed and any required deposit is paid.
• Recording & transcription consent: By starting a Vision Call you consent to the call being recorded and transcribed so we can build your proposal, improve our service, and keep an accurate record of what was discussed. You may end the call at any time. If you do not wish to be recorded, please do not start the call and instead contact our team to arrange another way to connect.
• How we use your information: We use the details you provide and the call transcript to prepare your proposal, to contact you about it, and to operate and improve our services. We do not sell your personal information. We retain it for as long as needed for these purposes and as required by law.

6. Quotes, Availability & Date Hold

• Quotes & availability: Pricing, packages, coverage, and date availability shown during the Vision Call or otherwise quoted before booking are estimates and are not guaranteed until confirmed in a signed booking agreement.
• $500 date hold: Wedding dates are limited and in high demand, and we reserve only one wedding per photography team per day. Where offered, a $500 date hold secures your specific event date on an exclusive basis for seven (7) calendar days (the “hold period”) while you finalize your package. It is fully refundable if you notify us in writing, within the hold period, that you will not be proceeding. After the hold period, the date hold becomes non-refundable and we may release the date to other inquiring couples. If you proceed, the $500 is credited in full toward your package (applied to your first payment), and your quoted shooting-fee pricing is held for the hold period. The date hold does not by itself constitute a booking; a booking is confirmed only by a signed services agreement and the initial retainer.

7. Client Responsibilities

• Cooperation: Clients must cooperate with the photographer during the session, including arriving on time and following any instructions provided.
• Property Rights: Clients must ensure that they have the right to use any locations, props, or materials used during the photography session.

8. Intellectual Property

• Ownership: All photographs and videos taken by Mango Studios are the intellectual property of Mango Studios. We retain the copyright to all images and videos.
• Usage Rights: Clients are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the photographs and videos for personal or agreed-upon commercial purposes. Any additional usage must be agreed upon in writing.
• Credit: When sharing or publishing the images online or in print, clients must give proper credit to Mango Studios.

9. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

10. Limitation of Liability

• No Guarantees: While we strive to provide high-quality services, we do not guarantee that our services will meet your specific requirements or expectations. The Vision Call and any AI-generated content (vision boards, plans, timelines, sample imagery) are illustrative. Final deliverables, creative direction, and team assignments are confirmed with our studio team
• Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mango Studios will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of our services.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mango Studios, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses, including reasonable legal fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of our services.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Mango Studios operates, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically to stay informed about our terms and conditions.
