I’ve shot weddings up there in rain or shine, and they’ve always come out beautifully. On those overcast days, the lighting is muted and romantic with a touch of drama. The clouds – some dark and grey, others light with just a hint of smoke – add texture to your city backdrop, and allow the warmth of your day to shine that much brighter making your modern wedding feel cozy and romantic. And clear, sunny days make everything pop when you can make out all the textures of the surrounding buildings. The ranging heights, widths, and clarity of the buildings will add dimension to your photographs while the unobstructed rays of light will make you glow so that all the little details of your modern wedding shine through.
