There are no words to describe how much I love this chic and elegant One King West wedding! I love how all the small details of the bride’s beautiful beaded wedding gown to stylish black and white wedding reception decor came together as one beautiful celebration at Toronto’s iconic hotel.
Jessica and Jason met while playing soccer together and they brought their adventure-loving spirit to their wedding photos.

I first met them during their engagement session a year prior to their wedding and we spent an hour taking pictures and getting to know one another. It is a great opportunity to learn something about yourself and the photographer who will be spending an entire day with you at your wedding. We started their creative wedding photos at Teefy Hall in U of T. The classic architecture of Teefy Hall covered with lush, leafy vines created a beautiful backdrop for the bride and groom along with their wedding party. We then drove to the heart of the Financial District to take some modern city shots. It was a blast roaming through the streets of the downtown core taking some romantic and elegant portraits. We then concluded our creative at One King West where we had exclusive access to the hotel’s balcony. A One King West wedding is all about modern chic, city romance, and beautiful architecture. I loved taking photos at the hotel’s balcony with the bustling city underneath. Soft and serene, these wedding photos are an epitome of a classic One King West wedding. With the magic sunset light dripping from the roofs of the nearby skyscrapers, Jessica and Jason enjoyed a few moments alone before heading to a much-anticipated wedding reception to start the party!
Jessica and Jason wanted to keep their wedding simple and elegant by adding a touch of black and gold in every element of their decor. Renata De Thomasis of RDT Events worked her magic and perfectly complimented the iconic hotel’s hall with chic and stylish wedding decor. Delicate white blooms, flickering candlelight, and touches of gold elevated the space into a chic and modern One King West wedding reception. The live musicians were playing music that could get anyone off their seats to sing and dance along. By the end of the night, Jessica and Jason’s day had become one huge party. Definitely, one I will never forget.
