Senior Sales and Events Specialist

MANGO Studios – Toronto, ON

The Senior Sales and Events Specialist position at MANGO is a full time position which requires an individual who is deeply interested in the Weddings and Events industry. Responsibilities

  • Meet pre-qualified clients in our offices, these are customers who are keenly interested in working with MANGO for their Wedding Photography.
  • Walk clients through presentations, offer creative solutions based on their unique needs, and close the sale.
  • Negotiating pricing & executing client booking contracts
  • Keep the CRM up to date, and organized
  • Work with existing customers and seek out upsell opportunities
  • Work closely with other vendors
  • Provide management with sales and KPI related reports for weekly sales meeting
  • Seek out new and creative opportunities to drive revenue
  • Work closely with clients ensuring a great experience from entry to exit. You will work closely with Customer Success and Production Teams

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Sales experience in hospitality, luxury retail, wedding or events industry is a must
  • Team player , can work individually and within a group
  • Proven ability to build and maintain long-lasting customer relationships
  • Sales driven attitude to generate maximum revenue
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline

Digital Marketing Manager

The Position:

  • As the digital marketing manager you will be a key part of the Growth Team, responsible for the development and execution of various projects.
  • Oversee and drive growth across all stages of the funnel, lead generation, conversion, retention and referrals.

Accounting and Administrative Clerk
Part Time, Flexible Hours
Location: Toronto

Job Summary

We are looking for a flexible entry level Bookkeeping and Administrative Assistant for a very busy photography studio in the Toronto area. The ideal candidate would be an independent contractor and be available 1-2 days/ week.

We photograph everything from weddings and milestone events, lifestyle and portraits, and various commercial projects. The basic essential duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Processing accounts receivable, accepting payments and collections.
  • Work with Quickbooks Online
  • Accounts payable processing from receipt of invoices to payment, ensuring that all payments are reviewed and approved.  Cross referencing through two CRM systems and spreadsheets.
  • Month end closing procedures and monthly reporting.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of budgeting, accounting and reporting practices to meet goals.
  • Preparing accounting reports;
  • Analyzing past and current accounting statistics in the company;
  • Verifying that all expenses are accounted for;
  • Verifying that all incomes are accurately reported;
  • Assist with the preparation of external accountant’s information needs monthly / annually.
  • Preparing financial statements;
  • Calculating end-of-year accounts; and writing and presenting reports based on these accounts.
  • Preparing payrolls, utility cheques, invoices, and other bills.
  • Maintain up-to-date employee files and contracts detailing all documentation about hiring, training, terminations
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Completion of a college or university program in accounting, finance or payroll-related field would be an asset.
  • Proficiency with Quickbooks Online
  • At least one year of experience with general accounting and clerical responsibilities is desirable.
  • At least one year of experience in processing payroll is a definite asset.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

  • Preference will be given to applicants who have previous experience in bookkeeping and administrative duties.

Salary: $17.00 to $20.00 /hour
