Modern Meets Elegance At This The Arlington Estate WeddingInside the gorgeous Ontario summer wedding

Sunny The Arlington Estate wedding

Romantic, modern and elegant is how I would describe Erica and Michael’s simple yet sophisticated The Arlington Estate wedding. These two met each other in high school and have been sweethearts ever since. They love football (they had a custom engraved football for their wedding!) checking out new restaurants, working out at the gym and just hanging out with friends. Let me tell you these two are fun, easy-going and a pure joy to be around! They wanted their Big Day to be a celebration of their love, where they could share the joy with their extensive group of friends and big loving family.

Erica envisioned a beautiful day filled with a fun and romantic atmosphere for her Arlington Estate wedding. When I asked them what they loved the most about Mango Studios photographs, this is what Erica told me: “I always loved the creativity each photo has, you capture such special moments even with the simplest photo!” She also mentioned that she wanted a mix of formal photos with some natural and candid portraits. That’s why I took a candid approach when it came to their bridal party and couple portraits. I shared Erica’s vision and wanted their wedding photographs to feel active, organic and naturally elegant. With its lush emerald greenery, overflowing trees and a lot of space to work with, The Arlington Estate was a perfect location.

I loved how Erica and Michael were so expressive with their love of each other, it was easy to capture their candid moments of laughter and happiness. They just knew how to have a great time! What works best for me is taking a step back and giving my couples their space to enjoy the moment. I won’t direct them to a certain spot but would guide them to a general area that photographs beautifully. This way they can choose to move freely and do what feels natural to them such as: throwing arms around each other, planting kisses and waltzing. My aim is to always try to weave my way around and simply let my couples enjoy their wedding day while taking photos along the way.

Erica and Michael described their reception decor as full of white flowers and greenery. I fell in love with their space the moment I stepped in! All of the vendors worked their magic to bring Erica and Michael’s vision of a simple yet elegant The Arlington Estate wedding to life. RDT Events + Beauty transformed the beautiful reception hall into a modern-day oasis filled with organic and artful floral arrangements by the talented Fleurisma Events. I particularly loved the modern touch of a vibrant neon sign with Erica and Michael’s initials hanging behind the head table.

There were many heartfelt speeches shared and the sounds of happy laughter filled the wedding reception throughout the night. I’d like to thank Erica and Michael for giving us an opportunity to document their gorgeous wedding and I wish them many years of happy marriage!
