When I first met Bronte and Bill, I thought: “Wow, they are so nice!” and are one of the sweetest most welcoming couples I’ve met. The moment they told me they would be having their wedding at the Toronto’s famous One King West Hotel, I was super pumped. Apart from being a spectacular wedding venue, I love this hotel for its amazing Toronto scenery and the floor to ceiling windows that let in beautiful photogenic light during the reception. Just imagine getting married to the love of your life at a beautiful regal hall within a bustling city. That’s what Bronte and Bill’s wedding was like and I loved every second of it.

Bronte and her girls got ready at the spacious One King West hospitality suite overlooking Commerce Court. It felt calm and peaceful as she put on her favorite jewelry, taking her time to get ready. This is exactly what I love about the bride’s mornings. Without the rush of the wedding day, you can really savor each moment and soak in that magical atmosphere. Letting whatever you’re feeling sink in and giving yourself some time to pause before everything gets underway. If time allows, and I hope it does, I love to document the bride at that moment, before they see the love of their life for the first time on the wedding day. I can’t stress enough how important it is to allocate sufficient time for us to document this. You can trust me on this – your getting ready photos will be amongst your favorites in your wedding album.

Bronte and Bill decided to step out onto the hotel’s balcony for their First Look. As Bronte walked slowly towards Bill, their family and friends stood behind the windows eagerly waiting for Bill’s reaction. Once he turned around and saw Bronte, he couldn’t believe how beautiful she looked. You could hear the whole family cheering from behind the glass.  I loved how Bill’s face lit up with pure happiness. It was a sweet moment for the both of them and I am quite glad they opted to have a First Look!

Their wedding ceremony began in the late afternoon at One King West Hotels’ Austin Gallery. The talented team at Rachel A. Clingen Wedding and Event Design created gorgeous floral displays that complemented the hotel’s regal interior design. The live quartet was playing soft classical music and the whole ceremony felt straight out of a fairytale. Once the couple exchanged their vows, and the glass was shattered, it was time to celebrate. Mazel Tov!

Bronte and Bill opted for timeless and elegant wedding decor, perfectly suited for the royal grandeur of One King West Hotel. With the crystal chandeliers, long family-style tables and running greenery – everything spoke to the couple’s impeccable taste. There were tall floral centerpieces in the middle of the tables echoing the hall’s sky-high ceilings. The wedding decor was nothing short of amazing. One feature in the room that instantly drew me in was the larger-than-life checkered dance floor!  Perfect for the dance-loving personality of Bronte and Bill!

Their reception had all of their 250 guests dancing the night away and singing to the lively tunes. The night was full of laughter, fun and heartfelt speeches – exactly how the bride and groom envisioned their dream wedding reception.

Bronte and Bill, thank you so much for making us a part of your incredible party. It was such a pleasure to get to know you and your family.
