Oh man, where do we even start? Our dear friend and an amazingly talented wedding planner, Lynzie Kent from Love by Lynzie emailed us and said ‘I want to throw a styled Pop Up Chapel in Toronto at Evergreen Brick Works in November … can you help?’ ‘Yes, yes! Indeed we can!’ we replied and immediately signed up. I mean … spending a whole day photographing surprise weddings, pop up elopements, beautiful couples in love, all styled by Lynzie and her team of fairies? Can’t get better than that!

I’m so excited to announce that we will be the official wedding photographers behind the upcoming November Pop Up Chapel alongside with other very talented and cool vendors. With three successful Pop Up Chapels in the past, Lynzie and her girls helped over 30+ couples to get married in the dreamiest of locations, and we can’t wait to jump in on all the fun.

We photographed the Evergreen Brick Works Pop Up Chapel

Ah .. now when the official announcement is made, I’d love to tell you more about this amazing couple we photographed at the September’s Pop Up Chapel. Jennifer and Jeff tied the knot in front of their nearest and dearest friends and family, and we got to witness and photograph their very special afternoon!

Jenn and Jeff met at an orientation meeting during Frosh Week at York University. Over the years, they helped each other grow and have built a strong support system around their relationship that allowed them to flourish. They are hardworking and put family above all. When I asked them why they decided to elope, they answered that they loved the simplicity and ease going this route. They are big fans of Evergreen Brick Works (Jenn works in sustainability), and the idea of donating a part of the proceeds to a great cause made it an easy choice.

It was great to photograph the Pop Up Chapel for many reasons. From the uniquely styled setting, an amazing team of vendors and a great, easy-going couple, it’s easy to fall in love with the Chapel’s concept. However, what I loved the most was the idea of photographing pure joy and emotions. After all, getting married surrounded by the people you love the most and share a wonderful afternoon together … isn’t it what weddings are for?
