We’re so excited to share Chelsey and Jeremy Bieber’s beautiful destination wedding we photographed in Jamaica!
Intimate, cozy, and utterly romantic, their sun-kissed wedding took place at a beautiful, private villa on top of the hill overlooking an insane gorge. Surrounded by a tropical forest, lush emerald hills and sky-blue water, it was a dream location for a family-only event. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, they exchange their vows in front of their nearest and dearest in a very small, laid-back ceremony, and as the sun dipped into the horizon the couple was officially hitched!
Having four children, Chelsey and Jeremy place a huge importance on family. They wanted their wedding to be not only centered on love, but a cozy and sweet celebration of two families coming together. There were 40 people in attendance and the guests flew in to share their joy and happiness with the couple. To be surrounded by your most favorite humans in the world and share your happiness, what more does a wedding need to be?
Family portraits were a big part of the wedding day. I wanted to make sure that we captured the love and connection they share with each other. During my family portrait sessions, I strive to capture that special bond each family member has with one another, even when the kids are running around like turkeys and the grown-ups can’t hold back their laughter. I want to capture those genuine moments as often as possible. Life might be chaotic and hectic at times, but it is your family that holds things together.
As the sun disappeared behind the stunning Jamaican vista and the night stars started glimmering in the sky, the wedding turned into a “good old family house party,” with the newlyweds and loved ones dancing well into the night.
