Looking for pink wedding theme inspiration? How about a tropical, art deco inspired wedding? Inspired by the Beverly Hills Hotel, this sun-kissed, flamingo-filled wedding is a perfect option for those who crave a piece of the Californian sun on their wedding day! Led by Le Chic Soiree, a Toronto wedding planner extraordinaire, this wedding creative involved over a dozen wedding industry experts, artists and creators! Everything came together in a beautiful setting at the Bellvue Manor and we couldn’t be happier to be a part of such a great team.
Our photography was greatly inspired by the grandness of the creative setting and the glamour of Beverly Hills. This is why we staged our model in confident, empowering poses. This creative shoot artfully combines both modern and retro elements, and when it came to our photography approach we wanted to show that cool mix in photos. Our poses were mainly inspired by the Golden Era of Hollywood and we kept a modern, candid approach when it came to the close-up portraits. Notice how the model is both confident and soft in full body and close-up shots. She’s our vision of a modern bride, who is both empowered, beautiful, confident, yet tender and mesmerizing all at the same time. We also kept the shoot light and naturally lit to give the photos a bit of a soft Californian vibe. The space looks illuminated, basking in the morning sun – exactly what you see visiting the infamous Beverly Hills Hotel!
The art deco design elements that are prominent in the interior design of the Beverly Hills Hotel were incorporated throughout all the small details of this creative shoot. The talented team at Paper Damsels put together the cutest stationary set for the shoot that featured trendy palm prints and a minimalistic stripe design. Precious Flowers N’Things brought hand-painted golden pineapples to complement their fresh, bright pink flowers. The team at Dream Party Decor surprised us all with a dozen life-sized, pink flamingoes, that gave the shoot a truly magical vibe. We had so much fun photographing delicious creations by The Cocoa Cakery and incorporating their mini-flamingo pastries in the lay-flat stationery styling.
Take a closer look at the cocktail and dining table setting kindly provided by Detailz Couture Event Rental. There’s so much to see! Golden, minimalistic cutlery, intricate charger plates and bold, pink tableware from Plate Occasions added a touch of sophistication to the modern design elements of this shoot. I loved how the tables were full of all the amazing little details! All of this was carefully orchestrated by Le Chic Soiree, whose keen eye for design tastefully combined all the elements together.
It was tons of fun to spend the day with all the talented vendors at the shoot. We laughed, we created and we had a great time. I couldn’t dream for a better team to work with!
