We are still swooning over this Langdon Hall wedding! See why below:
Sarah and Matt envisioned a beautiful countryside wedding full of elegant blooms and loose greenery. They wanted it to be a fun-filled celebration of their love in a classic and timeless setting and Langdon Hall was such a perfect spot for them to tie the knot.
These two met while travelling Naples, Florida during their school break from Western University and quickly fell in love. Even when Sarah moved to British Columbia upon graduation, their relationship blossomed despite the long distance. They treated every opportunity to be together as an adventure to explore nature and share their love of hiking and mountains.
One afternoon, after a day of hiking in Alberta, Matt went down on his knee and popped the question at a spectacular lakeside viewpoint amongst the mountains. This is what Sarah said about that moment: “I have always been impressed by Matt’s thoughtful gestures to plan little surprises, but I was even more touched and completely caught off guard by his romantic proposal in the heart of the Canadian Rockies surrounded by the beauty of the Spray Lakes, wildlife and snow-capped peaks!”. Isn’t it such a touching story?
When I asked them about what attracted them to Mango Studios, they didn’t hesitate to answer: “We heard nothing but rave reviews about Mango Studio’s professionalism, passion and your unique eye to capture each couple’s personality and style. We feel confident that Mango Studios will capture many beautiful moments of our wedding celebration!” I was so pleased and touched by their honest response which only made me feel more excited about their wedding.
That’s why I put lots of effort into getting to know them so I could tell an authentic story of their love. It was important to me that I keep their wedding photos natural, candid and effortless since this is exactly what they were looking for. I also wanted to showcase the natural splendour of the Langdon Hall with its lush green fields, exquisite gardens and an old-world charm.
Some people focus on the music or the decorations, but Sarah and Matt wanted a wedding venue that radiated country elegance. Since they spend lots of time outdoors, they wanted to bring the outdoor elements to their Langdon Hall wedding.
I couldn’t wish for a prettier setup that day. The outdoor spaces offered a perfect backdrop for beautiful pictures, while the sheltered ceremony site let the abundance of natural light in. Following an intimate ceremony in the newly designed Summer House, the couple and their guests were treated to a superb dinner, prepared by the venue’s award-winning chef. All the dishes were based on the freshest and local ingredients from the area and Langdon Hall’s own vegetable garden.
