Heck yeah! Kyla and Vince wedding in Punta Cana was the epitome of a beach wedding inspiration! There’s just something ridiculously romantic about getting married on the beach with the sand in your toes. We’d know, because we’ve photographed numerous destination weddings at the most exotic locations, and for real, the romance is at an all time high.
Kyla and Vince tied the knot in front of their closest family and friends on a beautiful afternoon under the Dominican Republic sun. Their simple, yet elegant, beach theme details found throughout the wedding tied together beautifully with the help of Renata De Thomasis of RDT Events. Renata worked extra hard to make sure everything was perfect for the big day abroad because she would not only be attending the wedding, she would be in the bridal party alongside Kyla! I mean how cool is that to have a wedding planner who is also your friend?
Surrounded by the lush landscape and sounds of the waves, Kyla transformed into a stunning bride for her beach wedding. She wore a sleek, ivory gown down the aisle to meet Vince. From the sandy aisle, we were able to capture their first kiss with the crystal blue water behind them as their ceremony came to a close.
Once the wedding ceremony was over, we made sure to take advantage of the beach for our creative session with Kyla and Vince as the sun began to set! Destination weddings are not really complete without some breathtaking seaside views and images. I took the couple down the waterside where we were able to capture their first moments of wedded bliss amongst the natural setting around them. We got so lucky with the weather, it was absolutely perfect for their beach wedding under the sun!
I’d like to add one thing about a destination wedding creative section, as it might help plan your own beach wedding to make sure you get the best photos. We took Kyla and Vince’s wedding portraits in the evening as the sun was setting and it is not a coincidence we chose that time! Apart from having the most beautiful golden hour, the evening sun is also the most flattering when it comes to beach weddings. This way we were able to avoid the harsh, Dominican Republic sun and take advantage of the soft, evening light that replaced it towards the sunset.
Another thing to take into consideration when booking your destination wedding photography is to include a pre-wedding photo shoot the day before your wedding day. It gives a great opportunity for us to scout the location for your wedding photos and find the best spots where the light is perfect.
Leading into the reception, we couldn’t help but admire the gold, white and green details throughout the floral arrangements, place cards and table settings of this destination wedding. Everything reflected the classic and timeless feel of Kyla and Vince’s love beautifully. Through heartfelt speeches it was hard not to tear up while hearing what guests had to say about the couple of honour. There was so much emotion throughout the day. Tears of happiness were found on many friends and family’s faces, especially Kyla!
This beautiful location and stunning couple will be one to remember here at Mango Studios. Kyla and Vince, I wish you both long years of happiness. It was such an honour to be a part of your wedding! Till the next adventure!
