Lavender Field

Terre Bleu Lavender Farm engagement photos in Toronto

There’s no sweeter date spot than a lavender field. The moment Kathleen and Nelson mentioned Terre Bleu Lavender Farm for their e-shoot, I was all in! With thousands of delicate lavender blooms surrounding the scene it instantly evokes magical romance. What’s there not to love? With such an amazing landscape work with, you’ll surely end up with a couple of hundred beautiful photos to frame.

Wedding Photographer’s Tip: If you’re going for an out of town engagement photo shoot, allocate at least 1.5 hours for photos as you’d want to explore all the great photo spots your location has to offer. In addition, bring a fun prop to your session. Anything from a cute picnic basket to a colorful bicycle would do!

Hollywood Glam

Up the drama and bring your e-shoot game to the next level by including a stunning muscle car into it! Alicia and Phil were dressed to the T and looked amazing in their classic Pontiac GTO. I loved how everything, from their outfits to their photo location, tied in so well together against the setting sun. Not only did it speak to their impeccable taste, it also revealed who they are as a couple.

Engagement Photographer’s Tip: Having a styled engagement session is a great way to announce your wedding to family and friends. It will also provide you with some meaningful images that can be cherished for a lifetime.

Frozen

Muskoka engagement session

As proud Ontarians, Muskoka is forever engraved in our hearts. Even on a snowy winter day, the scenery is surreal, especially when combined with a couple decked out in elegant outfits. Sabrina and Josh are a “live-and-die” Muskoka couple when it came to their engagement session they had no doubts where they wanted to take their winter portraits. I especially love the fact that she opted for a chic, velvet gown that looked perfect in photos.

Engagement Photographer’s Tip: Your winter photos don’t have to be indoors. Embrace what the season has to offer and embark on an unforgettable adventure in the woods. With all the beauty surrounding us in Ontario, choosing a picturesque location shouldn’t be a problem at all!

A Day At The Apple Orchard

Francesca and Francisco love exploring the countryside and enjoy taking mini road trips on weekends. I was so excited when they decided to go apple picking for their engagement session, I knew it’s going to result in an amazing summer engagement shoot! With the sun gently kissing the apple orchard, their photos turned out fun, luminous and full of love.

Engagement Photographer’s Tip: Don’t know what to wear for your engagement photos? Wear something that makes you feel like a million bucks! Whether it’s comfy sneakers, jeans combo or a fancy jumpsuit and heels, you should feel comfortable in your own skin. The attitude and confidence that comes with being at ease in your clothes translate well into your photos.

Wild Horses

Horse farm engagement photos

If you could pick one thing that you love doing together as a couple, what would it be? Elisabeth and Luke are big horseback riding fans when it came to their engagement session opting for a horse farm was a no-brainer. Rolling emerald hills are pure magic, this couldn’t set a more romantic mood for the newly engaged. With stunning horses calmly wandering on the field, this shot reflects all sorts of beauty.

Engagement Photographer’s Tip: Consider taking your engagement photos at a place that is significant to you both. Is there a common hobby you both share? Incorporate that into your photos as a prop or a location. Being in your natural habitat will help you relax and feel comfortable in front of the lens.

Countryside Romance

Farm engagement photos in Toronto

Spending some quality time at a family farm makes for some down-to-earth photos. Malisa and Salvatore recently bought a house on a farm together and wanted to capture the time when they were in the process of rebuilding their new home. I especially love the action and intimacy of this photo. With Malisa playfully swinging on a tire and Salvatore cheerfully supporting her, there’s something utterly romantic and care-free about this setting.

Engagement Photographer’s Tip: Just because it’s a country-side session, it doesn’t mean you can’t glam it up! Make a fun date out of your e-shoot and dress up for the photos. You’ll love how polished and fun your photos will look.

A Breakfast For Two

At-home engagement photos in Toronto

Seriously, what’s better than snuggling in bed with the one you love? I’m convinced that at-home engagement sessions capture the candid and the genuine. If you’re “stay-at-home-and-watch-Netflix” kind of couple, why go anywhere else? Leave your daytime chores behind and hit that snooze button while we capture your true love in photos.

Engagement Photographer’s Tip: At-home engagement sessions are super fun! Not only it’s a great way to spend time with your boo, it’s also a great opportunity for us to get to know you better. If you are at a loss for engagement photo ideas, at-home e-shoot is definitely a way to go!

A Snowy Afternoon

Snowy winter engagement photos

Winter engagement photos? Heck yeah! I especially love how colorful Roxy and Daniel’s outfits are and how they pop against the white-out background. Originally, we were planning on an at-home engagement session with these two, but when we saw what was happening outside we couldn’t resist the urge to dive in. I’m so glad we were able to snap a few photos on a snow-covered street of Toronto as they are so fun and playful.

Engagement Photographer’s Tip: Accessorize your winter engagement photos by wearing a cute hat or a pair of winter boots. There’s no reason to fight the weather, and these little details will only add charm to your photos.

With Best Friends

Engagement photos with dogs are the cutest!

It’s no secret we are head over heels with dogs, especially if you bring them to your engagement sesh! We even have a separate blog post about including them into your photos, check it out here. Rachel and Jason are big dog lovers (they even incorporated custom made dog statues into their wedding!) and I suggested they bring their two furry friends along for their shoot. With a morning fog still embracing the beach, their engagement photos were as romantic and cozy as they can be.

Engagement Photographer’s Tip: Tell us what defines you as a couple and we will find the most beautiful way to show it through your engagement photos. Best wedding and engagement photography is a result of our hard work and eye for beautiful moments on our side and a whole lot of trust on yours. Let us into your life and you will end up with the most beautiful photos to cherish for a lifetime.
