There’s something undeniably romantic about this Liberty Grand wedding. Filled with laughter, tears of joy, twinkling candlelight, and pretty blooms, I’m totally crushing on it today! Not to mention, it was entirely planned by the bride’s mother! So much love and hard work right there.

Sophisticated, yet down-to-earth and so much fun – this is how I would describe Alessandra and Mark. The two met while studying in university and spent most of their dates exploring the streets of Toronto. A few years later, the pair celebrated their wedding day by strolling around the campus of the University of Toronto and kissing around the hustle of the great city they fell in love with. With a sharp sense of style, Alessandra and Mark celebrated their amour by throwing an unforgettable gala in honor of their love. I mean, does it get better than this?

A lot of people ask us what makes us different from all the other wedding photographers in the country. I always say that it’s our approach, the MANGO Method, that sets us apart. When I first met Alessandra and Mark during their engagement session, I knew we were going to get along the moment we started chatting. They are such a genuinely nice couple! They envisioned a stress-free wedding day that was really just one giant excuse to throw a party of their dreams and celebrate their love with close family and friends. That is why, when it came to their wedding day, I kept it easy and candid. And that is, in a nutshell, the basics of the MANGO Method 😉

It’s all about getting to know your couple and learning about what makes their wedding unique. We are able to adapt our style based on the couple’s unique taste, but the overall approach always stays the same. We are fans of candid and light-hearted wedding photography that tells an authentic story of the wedding day in addition to flawless, editorial style portraiture. As visual storytellers, we ground our work on being present in the moment and spotting great photo opportunities that would otherwise go unnoticed. That’s what Mango Studios stands for, and I believe this is what keeps attracting so many cool, fun-loving, and adventurous couples to our studio 😉

Alessandra and Mark’s Liberty Grand wedding reception gave me chills when I first entered into the hall. Their wedding decor doesn’t feature extravagant details, but it doesn’t need to. It stands stunningly on its own with ridiculously pretty florals, crystal chandeliers, and blush-toned candles. Classy and timeless, it’s made of pure love, because it was entirely planned and designed by the bride’s mother.

Taking inspiration from the traditional elegance of the Liberty Grand’s Centennial Room, the wedding decor was saturated with classic and timeless elements. The crystal decor details and flatware echoed the ballroom chandeliers, while the blush flowers and neutral-toned candles added a touch of romance into the green and white wedding color scheme. Glamourous, yet fresh and classic, it spoke to the mother-of-the-bride’s impeccable style and taste!

There were so many heartfelt speeches and fun dancing on this wedding day, and I’m so honored to be a part of it. Alessandra and Mark, thank you so much for bringing us along to your Big Day! We wish you all the best in your married life together.
