I have nothing but warm words for this couple. Natalie and Ali are both such welcoming, classy and friendly couple. It was my true pleasure to get to know them leading up to their Four Seasons Hotel Toronto wedding.

I first met Natalie and Ali during their initial consultation where we talked about their wedding day plans and the overall vision. This is when I learned that two have been together for over 9 years. When I asked them to tell me more about their relationship, Natalie said: “We’re the quintessential example of marrying your best friend!” Turns out, Natalie and Ali bonded over their shared love of entrepreneurship, family, travel, and fashion. The two-run separate, successful businesses. She owns a line of luxurious sleepwear, K.I.P and he runs a luxury car rental company. Needless to say, they go the extra mile to support each other in any new endeavor.

With closest friends and family in mind, they envisioned a wedding that was not only about celebrating their love but also their companionship and friendships they’ve grown since being together. And being a witness to the many moments of laughter, tears of joy, and happiness on their Big Day was a true privilege for me.

We started the morning at the beautiful Four Seasons Hotel Toronto suite that was basking in the morning light. The girls met me wearing Natalie’s custom monogrammed silk robes, and it was only natural that she gave out the personalized robes as presents to her mother and mother-in-law.

Ali and his groomsmen arrived at the ceremony site in style in fur white sports cars:  Ferrari, Lamborghini, Rolls Royce and Porsche. I jokingly dubbed them the Four Knights in Shining Armour. That’s how impressive and cool they all looked as they pulled over by the Four Seasons Hotel!

I walked into the ceremony with the groom, and I could see how excited he was to get married. When Natalie walked down the aisle, everybody (even Stella the French Bulldog aka The Ring Bearer) could feel how thrilled and excited they were about marrying each other! Ali did let a few tears escape along with Stella who was crying too. It was such a heartfelt and moving wedding ceremony.

As true Yorkville dwellers, Natalie and Ali wanted some modern and elegant wedding photos in their favorite neighborhood. And for a good reason! Yorkville is one of the most charming areas in the city, and one of the oldest places in Toronto with lots of character and charm. I took the newlyweds around the area showing my favorite spots before coming full circle and snapping a few minimalist portraits by the hotel.

As the evening rolled out, it was time to head to their Four Seasons Hotel Toronto wedding reception. Kim from Kim Miyama Events and Lavender Grace worked really well together to create a beautiful reception space. I really loved the simple and airy feeling the decor gave you. With delicate blush blooms and light white furniture, Natali and Ali’s reception was truly classy and timeless.

The evening was winding down, and so toasts were in order! A lot of laughs, a lot of tears, and a lot of joy was carried out through the rest of the night. Everyone danced until they couldn’t feel their feet, and seeing the pure happiness and love from everyone in the room at the end of the day filled my photographer heart with joy.

Natalie and Ali thank you so much for taking us along on your special day. We had such a great time with your family and friends.
