As wedding photographers, we know how much work and effort goes into planning unique celebrations. That’s why this last week we hosted a summer Mango Social event to honor the kings and queens of the wedding industry. There would be no awe-inspiring weddings and picture-perfect celebrations to photograph without the ever-so-talented planners, florists, and decorators. We’ve built quite a relationship with some of the best minds in the industry over the years, and we wanted to gather all of them in our studio to say Thank You and kickstart the beginning of the vibrant wedding season!
When it came to the party’s decor, we knew we wanted something very unique. We were inviting the industry’s BEST, so the pressure to deliver something really great was almost overwhelming. However, we knew it all was going to come together just fine when the talented people at the Dance Floor Decor and the Opening Night Flowers reached out to help us out! Together, we used this summer’s most popular Pantone colors to come up with a color palette for our event that was vibrant, on-trend, modern and super fun!
Our graphic designers came up with a colorful set of sleek stationary, and Dance Floor Decor incorporated our design into everything they could get their hands on. From the ghost chair decals to the place settings and the table runner, all of the printed materials had our signature Mango Social design. The team at Dance Floor Decor even came up with a branded, epic, larger-than-life Swing Photo Station which the guests adored!
Our friends at Opening Night Flowers worked their magic and transformed our studio into a whimsical summer garden blooming with all sorts of precious flowers. I especially loved the mismatched floral arrangements on the family style tables – they added such a welcome touch of vibrant color into our space. When placed next to the sleek tabletop rentals from Plate Occasions, these flower arrangements completed the overall party look.
Of course, what is a party without delicious food, tasty drinks, and live music? We are so grateful for the amazing team at ProvisionsTO Catering & Events for putting together a mouth-watering four-course menu that was a big hit. Our guests enjoyed live performances by St Royal Entertainment while sipping delicious gin-based cocktails by Dillon’s Small Batch Distillers and tasting rare wine bottles gracefully provided by the sommelier, Samuel Quartier. Our sweet table was provided by the Butter Avenue – it was a perfect addition to the late-night party.
Being wedding photographers, we don’t get many opportunities to attend celebrations as guests, let alone plan one! I think many of the industry planners can relate. Based on their feedback the next morning, our little Mango Social was a big success. I’m so happy everyone took a time off from their busy schedules to visit us. We appreciate everything you do, and wish you a happy wedding season! Cheers to a great start!
